awesome hook
« on: March 27, 2007, 08:18:46 AM »
i am thinking about getting an awesome hook as a heavy oil ball. this ball would be kept dull or smooth sanded and fit in between a dull high load particle ball sanded 220 grit and a reactive ball finished with 4,000 grit abralon pad. i would prefer my favorite drill pattern( pin next to ring finger, cg and mass bias swung a hair towards my grip center to avoid a hole). what would be a good place to start with grit wise on the surface ?

Mine is at 600, and it still needs alot of oil. If you're saving it for a heavy shot, or tough tourney shot, OOB 500 would probably be a winner.
