Does anyone have any experience with this ball? Looks like the S&D core with a "hybrid pearl" cover... I saw there were a few lighter weight ones on eBay. I'm looking for something new to get for my mom (and this ball happens to be a color she likes). She has slow speed (roughly 12 mph) and mild revs (175-200 rpm). She tracks high (1/4" from fingers and thumb). Low axis tilt and more forward roll (15-20 degrees rotation). Her biggest issue is with equipment achieving enough length and keeping the ball from being jumpy on the backend.
With the proper layout and a mild surface prep (maybe 2000 grit Abralon and polish) would this ball work? Would something like a 5" pin to PAP well above the midline (3'-4") and a longer MB to PAP (maybe 4.5"-6"?) help to get the ball down the lane and smooth out the backend?
