ball for heavy oil condition
« on: July 04, 2005, 11:34:32 AM »
is there a ball or a drilling layout that will work for a avg low rev low speed bowler. according to what i have read the wmb is supposed to be that ball but i also have an oracle that rolls much better in oil. It rolls where my wmb gets lost. I cleaned the ball and finally polished it. it reads the lane better but now is a medium to dry ball.I am really fed up buying balls for what they are advertised to do and beeing disappointed is there any help for me or should i just not bowl in oil shots.

Since it's in the Morich forum, why not wait and try out the Total Shock & Awe. Supposedly outhooks the WMB by 7boards or something like that. If your having trouble getting the ball into a roll, you can try adjusting the surface to make it more coarse or have it redrilled as to have the pin 3 3/8 away from your PAP. I'm no expert in teh field of drillings but that particalar pin-PAP distance will generate the maximum flare that ball will yield.
