Ball Question
« on: March 30, 2008, 05:53:46 PM »
My son loves Mo as most of you already know. But he also still loves his T-Road Pearl. But it is starting to crack and it is time to replace it.

So my question is, what ball in Mo's line-up would be a close match to his TRP. He already has a Finish, Solid, 'NSane and Revs sanded for heavier oil. But the TRP is a great ball and he wants to go with an all Mo lineup.

If anyone has an idea, feel free to drop a comment.

You go ahead teach people to throw a bowling ball. I will correctly teach them to roll it!

Maybe the bowling part but coaching no problem there. Got ya covered! I may be new but I'm not stupid. I mean there is only so many ways to throw a bowling ball...its not difficult.

Actually he already has a Solid and that gives him a good look, but it is still a solid and not a pearl. I really think he needs a pearl.

We looked into a FLIP, but MoRich said that it was still stronger then the T-ROAD.

I guess we are just going to have to keep our eyes open for a ball that will do what he wants it to do.

Thanks for all the replies.

I'm a big fan of both Storm and Mo Pinel. I don't think your son should feel any pressure to keep his arsenal all one company unless he's on staff.

I would go with another T-Road Pearl. It's not just a different animal from Mo's stuff -- symmetrical core, Storm's more-angular coverstock -- it's a good ball in its own right.

If your son loves it, not replacing it just for the sake of getting another Mo piece would seem to be counterproductive. Get another T-Road Pearl, and keep drilling MoRich, too.

Nothing morich has compares to a T-Road Pearl. I've never seen a ball get really angular from morich. I've owned just about everything recent. Probably the most closest thing is going to be an Awesome Flip. The rest is all rolly balls but the A Flip has a more angular reaction similar to the TRP.

I have to agree. Mo makes NOTHING that truly flips or covers tons of boards down lane! The Ravage was the closet thing Mo ever made to a flip reaction but, it still was not a TRP in terms of boards in the backend and recovery.

Its not stroner in terms of backend but, the Flip is stonger in terms of the core reving up. I dont care how you drill a Flip, it still is not goiung to be the same move or even flip. Yet, it may flip compared to other stuff Mo has put out but, it does not flip in the true sense of a flip.

Dont get me wrong, I love Morich balls and I like to have Morich and Strom balls  in my arsenal. Why? They are 2 polar opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of reactions. Morich is early and rolly and more so than any other brand in bowling, and storm is usually effortless through the front with massive revovery (more so than any other brand IMO). Due to this, I think they are a great compliment for me.

Closest "newer" ball mo has to a skid snap reaction is the SAHARA...  but it sure isn't for the drier lanes as billed..

I agree with that on both points.

It still wont have the recovery of the T-road but, it is the closet.
