ntense levrg
« on: August 22, 2008, 04:55:14 AM »
Has any here thrown this ball?  It looks great in the video, but there aren't many reviews online at this site, or any other sites.  Should this ball be stronger than the solid and nsane?  Anyone care to offer their take on the ball?  Thanks!

i got this ball a week ago and i can surely say that this ball is definitely the strongest ball in the levrg series.   my guess is that alot of people who has this ball is waiting for season to begin so for now, there really isn't much to write about.  i've thrown this ball a few times on a typical house shot and all i could say is that i can't wait till season begins where this ball will see abit more oil.

Even stronger than the original LevRG?  I thought that was strongest, then the N'tense.

I am amazed at this coverstock... Rolls through carrydown like particle but clears the heads like reactive... has a very noticable texture in both feel and appearance... very interesting technology here...

Mo said at the classic expo, that this is their most hooking ball to date. and that both bowling magazines were considering a perfect score which has never been done. From what I've saw the thing is a beast, but has alot of adjustability in the coverstock.

This ball is a beast!! Usually balls don't get me too excited, but this thing is really fun to roll.  Heck, I might even be able to cover a couple of boards with this one.

The N'tense is by far the strongest pearl I have ever thrown. I have never had an issue with a ball burning up until this one. You definitely need a good amount of oil if you are throwing it OOB. I ended up putting a light polish on it.

Particle covers are more prone to burning up than reactive.  However, sometimes that can work in the bowlers favor.  I used to have a Track Animal that was great on almost all conditions.  The direr the pattern got the less the ball would hook which allowed me to use it on almost any pattern.  The only issue I would have is carry.  Sometimes the carry would suffer a bit on the dried out broken down patterns but I was always able to control the ball and get to the pocket.

Reactive covers have the opposite effect.  When the pattern dries out the reactive covers hook more and more which makes it a lot more difficult to play.

I wish more companies would make pearl particle or solid particle equipment.
