Well I'm getting an Awesome Revs...
« on: December 17, 2006, 10:41:06 AM »
I'm excited to see this ball in action (especially by me).  Can someone put up the Team Morich vid?

Also, is this a pearl w/particle, or particle w/pearl?

oh.  I'm not really a hard cranker, I obviously have no problem w/revs in the ball, more than average.  Looking at your suggestion, does it say 4.5" pin from pap, 6" mb from pap, w/1.75" above midline?  That sounds like it would promote good skid, with good energy saved.

Well I got it, my AR is 14lbs 5 oz, with 2.5 oz top weight.  It says 4-5.5", I'm assuming that's the pin.  Seems long, would that normally make the ball go longer?

That should be the pin/cg distance.  And no, that would not normally make the ball go longer.  The pin/cg distance on asymmetricals in general and Mo's stuff in particular really have very little (most say no, but that's another discussion) impact on length/strength of a ball.  The most important factors are Pin/PAP and MB/PAP.  Have you decided on a layout yet?  The one you talked about above with Corey, 4.5 x 6mb x 1.75, should get you in the ballpark of what you are looking for...

Hope this helps,

Bill

That's good to know.  I'm always told Mo balls are different, but a 1:30 drilling sounds like the way to go.
