Title: Craze Coverstock
Post by: AllAirForceTwice on October 05, 2009, 05:33:17 AM
Is this a CFT variation? Seems like it would be if this is a Med-Heavy oil ball... the diff is a tad lower and the cover stock is 2000 vs 4000... "and it's all on the backend" seems like CFT to me based on the ball motion of the C-System 2.5 i see from a Brunswick Staffer I bowl with.

Anyone?

Does it compare to the Brunswick CFT cover?

Different technology but its a stronger cover.I think this might be Mo's best ball yet.He might not agree with me but this is one awesome ball.If you get the chance to demo it dont miss out.

Well this is promising... I love the midlane control from Morich and love the skid/snap of Storm... Sounds like he wants to find a home in the latter's niche. I have mini arsenals of both and mix match based on the tournament shot that gets put out.

I heard it was the Seige cover not the C system cover.

Threw a friends that would be a 70 x 3 x 45 (late hooking) pattern for me... I have never hooked an entire lane before until this ball (32 at laydown, 25 at arrows, to the 2-3 board and it finishes in the 8-pin spot... I have thrown some pretty violent hooking pearls before but I never seen a 2000 surface ball ignore midlane this easy... The marketing is right on the money!

I have both the Siege and the Craze similarly drilled.  The Craze hooks circles around the Siege.

Maybe Mo tweaked the Siege cover to fit his needs then.  Also, are the surface preps identical?

I tried box, 500, 2000, 4000 on the Siege.  None of them reacted remotely like the Craze.

I just drilled one up today, very skid snap. When they say it is all in the back they mean it. Ball ended up around 4.25x4, my levrg was a few feet earlier with a weaker drill. I will put a weight hole in after I get some more practice to see if I can get it to start sooner. Right now u would say it is right on par with a break point pearl.

Well then the Craze is a different motor wrapped in a tweaked cover....

Hey there AllAirForce....TWICE!!!!
I had a couple questions about your profile.
First, you said you have 8 titles, 7 handicap and 4 scratch.  Do they teach different math in the Air Force than, well everywhere else in the world?
I'm also confused with your average, the blowing of honor scores, and adjusting BEFORE blowing the game?
How can you blow so many honor scores, yet only average 215?  Is this because you usually leave a BIG FOUR or some other ugly split, no wait it can't because you specifically said: "I just know that after I trip a 4-pin 3 times in a row on a 7 bagger that I need to move left or grab a ball with less backend... I don't wait until a leave a BIG FOUR!"
Oh, one more thing, going back to the math, since when did 209 (which is your last years book average) fall inbetween 215-220?

I'd really love it if you could clear some of this stuff up, that way I can create my profile correctly based on your math.

You've just been handed a little TLC

Yeah after reading his profile I wonder how he got into the air force? 7 hadicap titles 4 scratch. How does that equal 8?

Sorry about all the confusion... I have not even looked at that mess in over a year... yes, probably was a late night and I saved it thinking I would go back and clean it up. I hardly visit this site anymore. A simple message would have been more welcomed to take a look at it instead of bashing it publically... I promise to check the math if you learn to spell or even use the the correct word... it says in YOUR profile "What I through", not sure how one does that or even what a "hadicap" is. I guess we could play stupid games on here or actually just input something constructive to the post.
