cover on the awesome flip?
« on: July 17, 2006, 11:16:21 AM »
What cover does the awesome flip have? I thought it was activator plus, or is it possibly regular or advance?

I heard Advance right before the ball came out, but i'm not 100% positive.  I think I've read Activator+ on this site somewhere though.  I'd also like to know if anyone could clear this up.

Uses Activator+ from Absolute Inferno, just with a higher grit compound, not Rough Buff.

Its based off Activator +, but I've heard that its been modified, not just with the finish, but actually in composition.  What I have heard, from a reliable source, is that it is slightly stronger than traditional +.

Thanks for the info.  My "source" is very knowledgeable and almost always correct, but in this instance it appears he's wrong.  Sorry for the wrong info, and for calling others wrong.

Well then, it appears that a phone call to Morich technical services department is in order.  You have their phone number, give them a call during business hours and I'm certain that someone will be ready, willing, and able to answer your query.  FWIW, I was told that it was the same as the Shock & Awe, Activator+.
