Have the opportunity to grab a NIB Colossus Supreme for next to nothing. Lokking to use in on synthetics that have a terrible over under condition. The ball has a 3" pin and 3oz top. Was suggested that a axis leverage drill should allow me to somewaht tame this condition.
Your thoughts?

Make sure to contact someone at MoRich or an experienced driller like King of the Mill. Mo's cores have specific drilling patterns that work best. They will even mail you their Axis-Trac CD if you ask. I'd assume you'd want something like the control drilling.

Strider you are right on as far as MoRich having very specific drilling patterns that work best. My driller/fitter is actually quite close to Mo, whereas in Mo visits his shop quite regularly. I have a Colossus drilled with the control drilling, but cound that even in box finish it gets very "squirty" in this new house.
Was looking to see if anyone has opinions as to what might other options be in order to "tame" this "over/under". But for the $$$ I can't go to far wrong in adding this to my arsenal I imagine.

mtfd24,
Your best bets are to either measure your track and contact Freddie @ http://www.morichbowling.com/Products/DrillingRequest.htm
or
trust your driller (who is familiar with your game, he has seen you bowl)
or
wait for Mo to hit your town again.
Good luck with your Supreme, it is a good rock.
