Got two Awesome Revs and two Awesome Finishes (from clearenergy4me, great seller A+++) and decided to drill one of each up.
This is about the awesome revs which has the most games on it. (5) This ball was drilled on the Rico pattern which I've drilled one other ball on(Brunswick Chance Zone) and really loved. So I couldn't wait to try it out again on something new.
Out of the box factory finish on the monday night mens league this ball was sick. Usually a more oiled up shot then I see on my normal wed nights, and this ball didn't care. It was hooking and hooking hard. It kept hooking into the pocket and was killing the pins.
Shot 202 and 203. 202 opened in the 10th, 203 opened in the ninth with spare 8 in the 10th. So could have been a lot better but I forgot my heels and soles for my shoes and really struggled with my feet and approach and everything.
So for wed I decided to put a little polish on the ball to tame it and made sure to grab my needed shoe accessories before leaving.
The ball rolled great on wed. Had just a little lighter oil pattern and with the added polish on the ball things were perfect. Tamed the over reaction. For me a strong arc for most of the lane and no dying on the backend. Shot 228, 234, 237 with no strikes in the 10th of a great first game and an open in the 9th or the 2nd game and the 2nd of the 3rd game.
This was high on the pair with 4 higher averaged bowlers then me going 660 650 600 590. That is the other added bonus for me with the rico pattern. When lanes start getting tough for other bowlers it is like the ball doesn't over read it and stays very consistent. Requires very little adjusting.
All in all for my first morich ball it was great. Very aggressive out of the box but can be easily modified for whatever you may face.
