Title: Easy Question
Post by: Jeffrevs on December 15, 2008, 05:12:38 AM
Been away for awhile, and of course still like Mo's stuff, so would someone do me a favor (I think I know this), but, ...if you took all of the current Mo stuff, and drilled them the same in out of box surface prep, what would the order be from weakest to strongest (I know, subjective, but..humor me )..I'm coming up w/
Mojave, Solid, N`Sane, LevRG, N`Tense [oops,..on edit], Response......yes?

Thanks....

I would trade the LevRG and the N'Tense. The solid LevRG is a good ball. From what I've read, the N'Tense is a little more condition specific.
Talk with your driller for their suggestion.

You're saying the LevRG is stronger than the N`Tense, OOB condition, drilled the same?

Jeff,

I'm pretty sure when a friend contacted MoRich about the Response, they placed it above the Solid. So it's Mojave, Solid, Response, then the other 3.

If, I was building a Mo arsenal.  I would be buy a Solid (stronger PK18)  first as "benchmark". Set up for what you on average probably average sum angles on dual layouts.  Jeff looks at this on Mo's site and ask Ron/kotm.  Then, go low MOjave (PK17) better than Sahara's cover. Next up above Solid would be Response then N'tense and I'd leave out LevRg as it's too much over lap.

See http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=205375&ForumID=85&CategoryID=2  posted by DP3 with Fred Carroll rolling the new stuff with different dual angles.  This will help.

Jeff would do all except this would be Mojave, Levrg, Solid, Response, LEVRG.

Reason simply the LEVRG would be the most hook potential.  Response is simply not as lively on high volume oil patterns.

Thanks all, I got it ....I emailed KOTM ....he said the following ..

Mojave, Solid, Nsane, Response, LevRG, Ntense ...

Also, he said the Nsane and Response are very very close, but the Nsane would be cleaner up front and a tad sharper...FOR ME, assuming I still throw the ball the same

I posted this because I know you all know KOTM knows Mo's stuff, and would like to see what he had to say!

Thanks again for all the input!

Oh, I know, yes. I was throwing exclusively RG until KOTM got ahold of me ...that's when the Morich thing took over.  Heck, he threw my brother into a 900 Global Break, so, not sure what he'd recommend! It's fun though!

I thought the original LEVRG was supposed to be stronger than the NTENSE?

I get it but if the covers were in OOB surface and the same exact drill layout is used I thought the original LEVRG was supposed to be stronger in terms of handling more oil?

I thought it went like this: Original LEVRG, NTENSE, NSANE!

Well, it's not necessarily in terms of oil handling, but aggressiveness off the spot! Strong in THAT term.  And, ....the Nsane would be less than the Ntense which is highest at 4.7 seconds!

Regular LevRg is a super strong reactive, Nsane is a super strong, semi-pearl Particle, slight changes in densities between the 2 balls put the Nsane stronger than the LevRg.
