Title: Easy Rev core, what do they mean by easy rev
Post by: jd1319 on October 30, 2008, 01:30:15 PM
does it actually help increase the number of Revs, thus making it a better choice for rev challanged bowlers?  I'm a low rev stroker who has been known to be very precise on occassion, and am looking for ways to increase revs without sacrificing accuracy which tend to come with rev increasing adjustments.

Yup!! In my experience (I own 5 balls with this core) they rev up with little to no effort and drill the pins. I had issues early on being a fairly high rev bowler, letting the ball do the work. I was over reving. I think thier balls are the best out there for low to med rev bowlers.

Thanks guys, I'm going to try my first Morich ball, now the question is which one?  I've been dedicated lanemaster, so my current go to balls are the World Class Particle, Terminator, and Hornet, so I'll be seeking at medium/ medium heavy choice, would you know how any of the current balls compare to those lanemaster counterparts?  Unfortunately, in the 3 different centers I bowl, I've seen only 1 Morich ball, and it's an older one so my observations have been limited.  Thanks again

Just to add on to Drrev's post...

Do you have any experience with asymmetric cores?

To me that will be the biggest change going from LM to Morich. LM tends to use higher rg/sym cores whereas Morich is the exact opposite, lower rg/ very strong asym cores. With the strong asym diffs, layouts are very important.

For medium/medium heavy I might recommend the Solid LevRG. Great ball. It's right in the middle of the current line up and perhaps the best introduction to Morich.

also adding to what drrev was saying I wanna mention that I am a power player the exact opposite of drrev and I must say the smooth consistency of the ball reaction MO gives is unmatched by any other company. Even using pin up drilling on the Nsane LevRG and Shock and Awe I still amazing control on the ball and I can still easily read the lane.

Yes....I believe a new trend is continuing with the low rg cores but reducing the differentials(flare Potential).

Examples would be the Smash Zone, Maxx Zone, Raid from Ebonite, all Twisted fury's, Avalance Slide.
