Finish ?

Hey every one i have a awesome finish drilled 4 x 4 with a X hole 2 1/4" down from my pap Im having problems with the carry im getting. Im bowling on synthetic lanes on a 39 foot ths play 14- 10.

My bowling style can best be described as a tweener with medium revs my question is what surface should i put on the ball to get better carry, this ball has been resurfaced and hit it with 800 ab pad then 1500 ab pad then 4000.

The description you're giving for your AF's layout doesn't tell anyone how high the pin is, or where the MB was put.

Also, please explain the "carry" problems you're having. Unless we can "see" what the balls is doing wrong, no one can provide a way to make it right.

4 x 4 layout for me second picture J mac made. Carry problems include, Really fast ringing 10's some stone 8s and 7 pins, i can get to the pocket constantly every time its just the matter of carry, I like how this ball reacts down lane alot im not getting any result tho. Could the ball possibly be rolling out ? playing that far right ?

When you say ringing tens and eight pins, that sounds like its pretty likely that the ball just isn't conserving enough energy to drive through the pocket.  Yet your surface sounds as though it should be ok for most.  Try taking the ball down to 1000 and hitting it with perhaps rough buff or a fairly mild polish.  I wouldn't apply either finish on top of the 4000 or use anything like storm xtra shine, until you try this.
