N'Sane layout ideas
« on: November 24, 2007, 01:20:08 AM »
I'm thinking about getting one of the two N'Sane's I ordered for more length, and using a 105 degree layout which should put the MB on the track side of the thumbhole.  I had heard in the past from the Storm people that you should keep the MB at least 3 inches from your track to avoid any problems.  Would having the MB on the track side of the thumbhole be a problem for this ball and core?  Thanks for the help.

I wouldn`t suggest just randomly drilling a 105 and put the mb in the track.  if you are looking to contol the ball reaction use ono of mo~s contol drillings from his drill sheets. Or read up on his new dual angle drilling system that appeared in bowlers journal. As I have stated before to receive the optimum performance on a Morich ball know you pap, tilt, approx revs, ball speed, and axis rotation. It will allow you to lay the ball out properly for your style and get the reaction you are looking for.

MB in track area can cause problems for high trackers - nagative flare, for exmaple, or general inconsistent ball reactions.
With such a strong asymmetrical core, I would not experiment, unless you have an expert driller at hand who knows your game, your needs with this piece and how to get both together in a proper drilling. Or money to burn or willing to plug the ball, if need be after test.

IMHO rather risky, I'd stay "conservative" and keep the MB on the positive side of the ball.
