TS&A Cover
« on: February 13, 2006, 11:44:42 PM »
For the knowledgeable.  How does a 500 abralon finish compare to the 400 matte original TS&A finish?  Close or ????

Thanks!

scott from what I understand abralon is just a smoother grit, regardless of grit amount.....if that makes sense

Thanks Revs!  I kinda figure a bit smoother.

I'd like to get the ball to roll a lil earlier on oily heads.  I have it at 1000 abralon now.  I'm actually surprized I don't get more overall hook from it.

Try a green scotchbrite pad on it.(600grit) That will make it grab alot sooner than any abralon pad I have used.

FYI.....tried it last night on heavier medium or light heavy condtion I would term it.  Took it down to green scotch brite 600 grit.  I was afraid to take this ball down that far.  Should ahve done it earlier.  Ball roll in heads was great and I used it all the first game...great roll and carry.

Thanks legend4life95 and Revs!
