So far so good. I tried following Mo's drill sheet when I had the first one drilled. Can't go by those diagrams. Ball was wayyy too strong. Very over under. Surprisingly, I could use it on a fresh shot, or a heavy medium shot, but after that put it up. I was only able to use one release with that ball also...up the back. But enuff of that.
I'm here to talk about No. 2. A sweet piece if I've ever had one! This ball has the pin directly under my ring finger and the mass bias, just under and in the middle of my thumbhole. This ball is plain awesome. Purposely waited till after league play, so I could test the length and stength of the pearl cover. Absolutely beautiful. I literally could not miss the pocket! I used four different releases....and this ball came back to the pocket like a bee to honey, or at least like it had built-in GPS!! The more I revved it...the more apt I was to get ten-pins. The more I stroked it.....ooooweee sweet string music was playin'. This is gonna be a piece I may be able to use all day.
I was standing 20 playing 13 at the arrows, sometimes out 10, sometimes out to 3....whatever....it always came back. Speed was about 14.8 first 4 frames, then got it to 15.5 the rest of my practice session. This ball with this drill goes long but comes back real strong. Can't wait to try it on a quantity of oil. Shot 214 and 217, but really wasn't paying attention to score. I was watching ball reaction at the breakpoint, more than anything else. Cleared the fried heads with eease.
Playing with it down and in, forced me to raise my speed to 16.5, or 17mph. Can't wait for league play. Will review it again at that time.
