I have a S&A, like it, sometimes too over/under, so the S&D looks like a good ball, angular, but particle to cut through some carrydown. But I also want it to go through the heads clean, I like the reaction that asymmetrical flip gives, it looks like it goes clean and relatively long, then makes a hard turn, was wondering if with that drilling will it still handle a larger amount of oil b/c of the coverstock? Also, can someone describe the difference between this drilling & the sharp break point, and how it will look different on the lane?

You could adjust the cover of your SA to take out the over/under and it would still do well in carrydown. My pro shop guy will take the cover down to a lower grit (220-500) then apply polish after that. It has worked well for me to combat over under and it also does well in light to moderate carrydown and is still decent through the heads. BTW, where are ya in VA?

Yea.....nothing hits that bad!!!

Anybody?

I've sanded the cover down to 800 grit, don't know if I want to do anything else to the ball, maybe ready to get another, I'm in the peninsula area, in the Hampton Roads area. Can anyone comment on my 1st post?

MoRich is in your area in Yorktown (I lived there from 2000 to 2003); I'd call them direct and ask them, Dude !!

That makes sense to me.....

Yes, it should be a nice compliment to the S&A

Too generic of a question for this type of strong asymm ball. If you have diagrams of each,...take a look to decifer....

what i meant was how much longer does the asymm flip drill go relative to sharp break point?
-
sorry again, but also does the asymm flip drill turn harder? I emailed Morich, waiting for a response.

Morich comments at his seminar was....no polish....change cover with abralon sanding pads....180 to 4000.....comments where same ball drilled three ways and change the cover...three different looks....may have spelled the sanding pads name wrong but it's close...If he is in your area well worth going to if you are interested in his products
