What would be the reason?

The supposed benefit of a Rico is to make a symmetric ball act like an asymmetric.  I think everything Mo makes is already asymmetric.  And with strong asymmetric equipment, it's always best to follow the manufacturers recommendations or find a qualified pro shop that is familiar with the equipment, not just throw a generic drill on an expensive ball and hope for the best.

Be adventurous and try it.
Find a snappy pearl ball like the awesome flip, and go for it.

Rico will smooth out the reaction, and add an even higher asymmetric differential to the ball with the x-hole placement.

I think Nails forgot his coffee this morning, its alright to experiment.
If we didnt we'd all be "max leveraging" everything.

Hell, my seek & destroy was laid out by me, outside of the drill sheet and I got the expected result, midlane roll of a particle, and a hard drive on the backend. http://www.bowlingchat.net/balls/seek.jpg (4 3/4 x 5 3/8)
there is no *Magic* to Mo's cores, they're strong, yes, but the core dynamic is respective of the numbers.
If you know what you're doing, you're fine, just consider the MB location will affect the ball's roll more than most other asymmetric balls.

I didn't forget my coffee, but as usual MegaMav forgot his manners.  Does everyone who disagrees with you get scoffed at?  I gave him sound advice and the reasoning behind it. You're not going to ruin an asymmetric with a generic drill, but like him or not, Mo puts a lot of effort in to his ball and drilling design.  You're more likely to maximize performance by following the experts.

its OK to be creative... have some fun with it.

Again, my recommended ball for this layout would be the Awesome Flip.

the Rico drill doesn't make a symm. ball act like an assym. ball, it gets the RG value as low as possible getting the ball to read the midlane sooner, and the X hole just brings the ball back to legal specs.  Yes it probably does increase flare, but but the ball will still be smoother off the spot than with a standard drill.  Its to even out tougher patterns.

I wouldnt try it on a higher diff. ball and/or one with a real strong PSA, it may cause the ball to read too early and roll out.  But If I could get one, I wouldnt mind trying it on a Colossus Pearl, or Ravage, or even a Sahara to clear the heads well on a hooking heads sport shot and not be too angular off the spot if you are trying to play tight.

Maybe this would have been perfect for people to try out on their $20 archons and paragons.

How are those reacting by the way to those that bought them up?

Why try it on a Morich? Morich balls are already early and controlled enough with a regular drilling.

Love my Paragon. Rolls smooth with a nice hard arcing backend. Same exact ball and reaction as my first Ravage.

What do you mean by "off set mb"?  Do you mean that the pin-cg-mb aren't in line?  I have two MoRich balls, and the mb is marked on both, and both have everything in line.
