Help Wanted
« on: November 29, 2005, 01:21:08 AM »
Ok gang.. I could use some help here. Fist.. see my profile for stats.
I'm thinking of picking up a 15lb seek and destroy or total shock and awe for the heavier tournaments and sport patterns where my other equip. isn't quite strong enough. I prefer to play inside lines and would like the ball to have a strong mid lane with continous strong arc on the backend. I'm leaning toward the seek and destroy because it is a particle and has a more angular motion on the back. Do you think this ball with the sharp break point drilling would work? or would you suggest a different drilling or ball. Thanks in advance!

I still think that the TSA will have more backend than the Seek and Destroy.  However, since the Seek and Destroy is particular, it will give you a more continuous motion in heavy oil.  If you like particles, the Seek and Destroy is a better choice.  But if you want something that will have a bigger backend motion, I would take the TSA.

Thanks for the replies.  I think I'm going to buy the ts&a because my pro shop guy said he'd give me a good deal on one. I just have to figure out how to have it drilled. I'm thinking somewhere around 3-3/8 x 4-3/4 should work but would like some more suggestions on drilling since I'm relatively new to morich.

I would go to the MoRich web site and get contact info to call them direct for drilling layout options; be prepared to provide your PAP, etc so that they can help you best.

better make sure your driller knows what he's doing when it comes to Morich stuff.....you dont' want to just punch holes in it!!

Make sure you can answer all the questions that Morich asks you ....and again...make sure your driller knows Mo's stuff!

Update! Doug Sterner drilled me up a ts&a using a strong arc drilling from one of mo's pro shop drill sheets. I got a chance to throw it on a 3 to 1 ratio sport shot league and it worked great. It allowed me to play inside where I'm most comfortable and my other equipment wouldn't quite finish. Shots that leaked a board or two right still got enough of the head pin to strike or leave makeable spares where my xxxcel or big time left 2-8-10's or washouts.
The ball carried exceptionally well for me as well. I ended up with a solid 645 series and two pg's. Thanks to Doug and MoRich!

ps - can't wait to try it on in some tourneys and the occasional heavy league patterns.

You are quite welcome Blair....and BTW the SPORT shot you were on was actually less than 3:1 but closer to 1.2:1 which is the accepted value withthe lanes just being cut.

Nice shooting, look for your name in the paper :-)
