How should I drill the Ntense?
« on: November 01, 2009, 02:04:11 AM »
Hey, I picked up an Ntense from someone off here, and I was curious how to drill it. I have a LevRG which has just been a superb ball despite many claims against it. I found I just really match up with the EZ REV core. My LevRG is a fairly strong ball, and I'm assuming the Ntense is even stronger right?

My LevRG is layed out with pin above the bridge. My pap changes when I throw Morich. My track dropped significantly versus when I throw a weak assymetric like the Supernova XP. So I'm guessing my LevRG is layed out with a 3.5-4" pin to pap distance. I would like the Ntense to be earlier and smoother than the LevRG. I know Morich is very drill specific. But would putting the pin under the bridge at the same distance be effective? That's what I would do for normal equipment but I'm just getting used to laying out Mo's pieces so I'm not sure if that would work.

If anyone has drilled one up, let me know how yours rolls. Or if anyone has thrown both the LevRG and the Ntense, please comment! Thanks...

So I drilled the Ntense with the pin two inches away from my supposed axis below and to the right of the ring finger. MB kicked out past the VAL. Ball is incredibly early with any kind of surface. Light polish allows it to push a little better downlane. Very strong midlane, and a controlled arccing backend. Pretty solid ball and definitely different than anything I've thrown. Hits hard and carries pretty well as far as I'm concerned. Rolls almost identical to Chris Forry's on the buddies video of the Ntense.
