MoRich Compliment
« on: April 02, 2007, 04:54:43 AM »
Hey guys, I have joined a "win a ball summer league" and need to decide on a new ball pretty soon! Now I would like to stick with MoRich only, and I am really looking for a ball to compliment my Shock And Awe. Now the Shock Is very aggressive by my standards, and I dont need anything more that it, but I would really like a ball that can get down the lane further than it (mine hooks pretty early and is very continuous through the whole lane) and come back with some FORCE!! I was thinking the Awesome Finish might be the ball, any thaughts on that? I may be able to even wait till the next ball with the new core (?) comes out but I would like to get a general idea now before its too late.

Bowler Specs --
Power Stroker/Low end Cranker
400-425RPMs
Heavy rolling (lots of side roll, little tilt)
17-18MPH Ball Speed

Any help is always appreciated! Thanks guys --

Finish should be what you are looking for then it start rolling later on the lane IMO ( I haven't throwen one yet) Another choice would be Flip with a less aggresive drilling than the S&A.

Mike,

I see the FINISH almost as a replacement for the Shock and Awe. SO if you get a finish you would need to have the layout be weaker than your SnA. One thing that alot of people forget about Mo's stuff is that if it is drilled weak enough you can make a strong ball very useable on drier lanes.

Perhaps the control drilling? If not any sudgested drillings I can look into? The finish is polished up a bit more than the S&A so i would think it would get down the lane a little further, my S&A is drilled to break pretty hard (and it does) so i wonder if a control drilling and possibly a higher grit then polish would delay the finish enough?

edit: What about the Sahara??

Control drilling would give you great length. You will see the finish push down the lane very well because of the strength of the mb. Then when it starts up down the lane it will take off. I have a machine with this layout and I love it.
