Colossus Pearl

For those that have thrown the Colossus Pearl what are your likes and dislikes?

What drill pattern did you use and would you change it?

What oil pattern did you find that this ball worked the best on?

I am in the process of plugging one and going to drillit later this week and want to know what your suggestions are.

Morich recommended a 5" pin to PAP and a 4 15/16" RC to PAP with the pin 2 3/8" above the midline.  This would put the pin into the middle finger and RC to the right of thumb.  CG would be about 3" from PAP.  I have tried this type of drill pattern before but only on symmetrical balls before.

I have read the reviews on this ball but I would like some more info.

Thanks

We went with a forward roll drilling for a cranker friend who always got to much jump out of other pearls. The ball goes good and long with a much smoother arc to the pocket which was what we were looking for. With that being said I would also drill a little on the stronger side if you are a cranker. The older balls like the pearl always seemed like they were core weak and must be rolled cleaner than some manufacturers for good carry. Just my experience.
