Any 'Mo' balls from Morich in the near future?
« on: October 05, 2004, 07:50:21 AM »
I've the Ravage and Onslaught (soon to get another Ravage) and simply love them.  Is there anything else expected from Morich in the near future?  I've seen the Total and really haven't a major need for it as the conditions I've encountered aren't condusive to it.  So what's next for Morich (if I may ask)?

new ball will be coming in about a month or 2, new core and new cover. Got a little inside scoop from Mo when he was here last week. He said it was a new particle and the core is something that has brand new and never been done before. Looked cool and sounds great. Keep an eye out on morichbowling.com and here for more info.

Wait until you guys see the core design in this one.  It gets a big WTF from me.  Being a semi expert on core shape and ball motion it should yeild a sharp turn with no sign of rollout, even with a dull surface or solid coverstock.  It's like a funky looking Z with some extensions off of it.  Hard to explain, there's no key for it on the keyboard lol.

I have been privileged enough to actually see the "whole" new core and like has been mentioned in this topic line: it is like nothing else and hard to describe.

While the name of the ball was not divulged to me, the name of the "core technology" was, but I was asked not to mention it. So I won't.

I looked up the definition of the name and realized why they chose it. While I can't give out the name, I will give out the definition (a little hype never hurt anyone).

So here it is, straight from: WordNet ® 2.0, © 2003 Princeton University

1)any creative group active in the innovation and application of new concepts and techniques in a given field (especially in the arts)
2)the position of greatest advancement; the leading position in any movement or field

I know this is only a tease and that some people out there hate that. But I just wanted to add a little excitement to this post and not burn my bridges at the same time. Hope this was somewhat helpful.
