wrw's pin carry in the finals this week

I watched the finals on my DVR.  This finals showed why WRW carry was not good the 2nd game.  It was very obvious the shots he didn't carry were because of ball deflection.  His carry was worse with the Levrg Response as it deflected a lot in the 2nd game.

I'm curious why his ball was deflecting so bad the 2nd game?

I just thought this was an excellent tourney to watch as one can really see why a ball doesn't carry on pocket hits.

It looked like a pattern if you were left early(for the righties) that the ball held but got stuck in oil for a longer time and had little hit.

Haven't we all faced this in our league shot at times...hold but no hit?

When I face that in league it's called carrydown. lol  Seriously, it looked like the ball just hit a patch of oil and didn't set up.  I'm not sure the ball even got into it's roll before impact into the pocket.  I will have to take a look at the vid again if I still have it saved.
