LevRG
« on: September 07, 2007, 02:49:44 AM »
I got my LevRG yesterday and had it drilled up immediately.  I threw a practice game with it on a fresh league shot and I am very impressed with this ball.  As advertised this is one strong, aggressive ball.  I was able to play down and in along as I kept the speed up or I could really open up the lanes and throw deep through the middle out to the 5 board and it came back hard and strong.  This ball will definitely need oil to be effective.  It was worth the wait for this ball to finally come out.  Good job Morich.

How would you describe the reaction you were getting? Is it an early-rolling type of ball, or does it go long and flip? Most MoRich balls seem to roll early and arc for me, which is nice. I'm just curious whether or not this one has a bit more flip to it.

I had this ball drilled to hook a little early, which it does, and it has the strongest arc I have ever had on a bowling ball.  Once it starts turning there is no quit.  If you watched the LevRG video I used a drill pattern similiar to the last one on the video.  The pin, cg, and mass bias are stacked and the finger holes are below the pin with the cg and mass bias kicked out to the right.

finally, some feedback on how this marble will roll.  will be drilling mine shortly and am considering the pin over ring finger with mb kicked out 45 degrees in order to get the early roll with strong arc on the backend that i am looking for on the longer, heavier, flatter patterns.

I drilled mine with the pin next to the ring finger, w/ the cg kicked out and the MB at 45*.  Took it out to a freshly oiled house that is wood w/ syn. overlay oiled to 39ft.  This monster revs up extremely hard in the midlane and has a super arc when it hits the dry.  Left a couple solid 8 and 9's in a three game set but still shot 660.  This ball out hooks my LM Conquerer, Hammer NM, Beat'n, Elite Alien etc.. etc...
