Personally, I have never had a MoRich ball die on me. The LevRG is an outstanding ball and takes surface adjustments very well. I know someone that added some polish to it and it works great for him. I tired polish, but I did not like the reaction, so I took it down to 2000, I think. With my speed, I needed surface so the ball would get back to the pocket.

I agree with BOWL119, I have never seen a MoRich ball die.  I also have my LevRg at 2000 abralon, and it hooks as much now as the day I got it.  Another great piece from Mo.

i, too, have not seen one Morich ball die. they simply do not absorb oil near as much as other companies. very long lasting, durable coverstocks.

OOB condition and approx. 40 games on it, my LevRG is still going strong. No sign of dying due to oil absorption.
Now ... when the heads get dry, the ball burns up early. But that's just a case of the ball not maatching up to the conditions.

I have had lots of MoRich gear including LevRG and I have never had a ball die. Just make sure you use the ball on the proper condition or use smart cover adjustments

Make sure you clean your equipment after every time you bowl.  MoRich also highly recommends you clean their gear to maintain reaction.  I use Track/Ebonite Clean n Dull as per Mo Pinel's personal suggestion.  Found it to be the best cleaner around but use what you like.  Just be sure to clean after each time you bowl.  Also make sure you do a full cleaning after any type of sanding to change ball surface.  You want to get the grit out of the pores to get a true reaction. Not one of my MoRich balls has died and I play with surface changes quite a bit.

I don't know how to find the OOB surface on some of these Morich balls.  It looks like the Levrg comes 500 or 800.  What is it though?  I assume it's actually 4000 by the way you worded that.

The LevRg comes in at 1000 abralon.  I took mine to 2000 because it just wanted to roll up way too soon for me, and at 2000 it saves enough energy to have good continuation through the pins.  You can find the surface(s) by going to the MoRich website and clicking on each individual ball.  It will list the factory surface for each one there.  here is the direct link to the LevRg from the MoRich website:

I have always used Track's Clean-n-Dull after every outing and it keeps all 12 of my balls from dying... Storm, Morich and Dyno-thane

I have approximately 100 games on mine with no marked loss of reaction. I basically wipe it between shots and clean after every set. It tends to get shiny after 15-20 games so I bring it back to OOB surface.
