This doesn't matter. If your a right hander and the cg falls to the left of the line through the pin and mb, for most layouts, a weight hole is less necessary, as the static weights are more likely to be in line with the standard. If the cg is on the right, the cg will probably be further from the center of the grip, and thus a discrepance in the static weights is more likely and a weight hole may be necessary.
Weight holes matter, and change reaction. The cg does not, other than making one put a weight hole in the ball, and thus changing the reaction.
