What conditions does this ball do well on, does it need heavy oil....Looking for something for medium oil that has some length...
-
I would say mine needs med-heavy to heavy. Definitely not medium or lighter ball.

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.
Awesome Revs, Finish, Flip, LevRG, Onslaught, Fury, Shift, Bravo, N'Sane (on the way)
GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!
Opinions are just that, opinions.

If you polished it I think it would be a good ball for you out of box you could still probably use it but you would have to get pretty deep. I like the way it rolls out of box It has a very smooth break shape that is easy to read.

If you need something with length and good for medium, Nsane all the way. Easy to read the lanes with this one. Once the lanes break down a simple adjustment will keep this ball striking. Bowled about 10 games on one lane with 2 other bowling, started off medium, i was playing the outside edge and had a good 2 first games, then I felt it was hitting too flush in the pocket and feared the stinking 10s and whatever else so I moved to where my left foot was in the left gutter and pushed the ball about 4 boards past center where there is the most oil and played that line for the remaining 8 games without a single adjustment. Had about a 215ish avg with it.
Best ball out there and the most versitile. LevRG is not the way to go if your wanting length on a medium pattern unless you hit with polish. IMO

Obviously you shouldn't expect much skid or much length on med shot with an OOB cover. The ball wants to roll right off your hand. Hitting it with some shine will certainly promote more length..., but will change its move at the breakpoint. The reaction with an OOB cover is exactly what I was looking for.
Last night, a guy with decent speed and minimal hand was playing a shined (2000) Levrg outside on a med shot and used it for all three games. (didn't see the drill) It delayed the hook and wasn't real snappy on the backend. He had a nice series with his. My Levrg didn't see light.
I haven't seen an N'sane on the lanes yet......
