I used to use nothing but Morich equipment, but I switched to 15lbs (from 16) and decided to try other companies. I currently use almost nothing but Ebonite as my pro shop carries alot of their stuff and I can get some older releases for cheap. I still, however, feel as though the Morich stuff that I used was the hardest hitting and overall best stuff that I ever drilled.
The shop that I go to doesn't really carry much Morich anymore and it looks like that company has fallen out of favor with many of the bowlers around here. It seems like their stuff doesn't get down the lane as cleanly as it used to. Sort of ever since the redesign of the block, in the LevRg, the stuff looks like it checks sooner and rolls out a bit on house patterns. Most people have changed the surfaces of their Morich to be able to use it on the THS, but the reaction turns to sort of a continuous midlane with little response to the dry downlane. Stuff like the S&D and TS&A were really strong pieces, but they could work even down to med oil.
I'm just basically wondering what are peoples thoughts on the post-LevRg stuff, and whether drillers out there have modified their preferred Morich layouts since the vanguard stuff to get this newer stuff downlane.
