Title: Mojave
Post by: mainzer on November 02, 2008, 06:31:02 AM
Well I got my Mojave and it looks vastly better in person than what it does on the computer, I haven't been able to use it yet, I was going to try it last Friday but the place failed to put any oil on the lane and even the Mojave was revving up at about 2 feet so that told me nothing I don't know already...When their is no oil everything hooks.

I had oil for about 15 feet and that was it Mojave set up just past the arrows my Hercules was about 3 feet sooner than that and nothing I throw would go out farther than 13th board ugh

my mojave is very close to my solid......alot stronger than I thought. I may sell the Mojave.......the Solid hits a bit harder.

Here's how I laid out my Solid...4000ab OOB with a pin under ring 65* x 4.5" x 65* X hole at P3....control layout.

http://www.morichbowling.com/CoreTech/DrillingSheets/BoxDrillingsSolidLevRG/BDSolidLevRG_Page_3.jpg

I threw it before drilling X-hole on gradient line position between P2 and P3.  X-hole and gradient line made it a little more active off the spot.

For me the Solid is perfect "benchmark" ball on medium patterns.  Shows me what's out there and if I need something stronger or weaker.

Looking foward to the Response as the ball above the Solid.

Well MOjave officially put my HPP into retirement tonight I think smoother off the break and much heavier roll covering just a few more boards MOjave looked amazing while the HPP looked...kinda okay, struggled to carry out the ten pin had a hard time making it back to the pocket even when I was moving right to help it out a bit. MOjave on the other hand was getting into a roll MUCH easier and going right through the oil, I had more control with MOjave more faith in the ball MUCH better hitting power, MUCH better carry, MORE room to move, MORE room to left and right of target.

I think MO has a real winner here I am gonna stop at the my pro shop tomorrow and get the angles and post them in my profile when I get my Ntense.
