BTM does not seem to like the Destroyer
« on: April 06, 2011, 08:50:03 AM »
I was at the pro shop today and read a so - so review of the Destroyer, this is not a good sign for Mo's latest ball. 2 out of the 3 styles rated this ball no higher than an 8 out of 10 for Medium or Heavy, the 3rd style was N/A.

Props to Afflac for dumping Gilbert!

i read that too and was quite suprised.I found my DestroyerR to be stronger than anything else that I have(Mania,Hot Sauce Solid,Sauce,Twisted Fury Solid,Reign of Fire).I started 5 boards left of where I normally start and had a sharper move off the breakpoint and seemed to carry better than my other balls.other equitment has the ame or similiar layouts.Surface at 360   layout 25* 4 25*   low revs, rotation speed off hand 20mph

Don't believe everything you read in BTM.  We bowled Wisconsin State Tournament this weekend and my teammate was using a Destroyer and a very long and heavy pattern on brand new synthetics and it was hooking more than anything else that was being used.  This ball looked great on the oil and was carrying pretty well also.

I love my Destroy/R. Got it used, but its one of my favorite balls. exceptional carry. speaking of BTM, I looked through all my back issues, and the Craze is never even mentioned. Did Mo piss in someone's cornflakes over at BTM?

The MoRich Craze is in the April 2010 issue.

I love all my morich stuff. The mania is my go-to ball when I'm confused. The only one I really haven't figured out yet is my RipR. Craze is nice and smooth. Frenzy is good for long and strong. Mania good for fresh and longer patterns. I can't wait to get all the new stuff. How does Morichs symmetrical cores roll?

After the LevRG series, a lot of people around here quit using MoRich. I don't know about other parts of the country, but those balls didn't really match up here.

The LevRG series was really conditional for me and more core dominant so you absolutely had to get the right drilling to march your game or they were anchors. The new stuff is completely different and rolls sooo much better. 3 Weeks after getting my Mania, I shot 801. Carry is awesome too.
