Well by nature the ball isnt designed to make that huge turn. Its better for playing in the oil. Like for mine on a THS if i can keep it inside break point no farther than 13 it makes a nice smooth arc into the pocket. Also probably the reason you have success up the boards is because its burning out and not making the huge move your expecting it to make. If you want to swing the lane with it put some polish on it and you wotn have to worry about it burning up. Very good ball in my opinion. If you can pick one up NIB i would do it.

looking to go down and in.  maybe a 10 to 5
or something, but able to find the hole.
my Quantum just isnt workin too well, outdated
for the most part.  it gets touchy when its down the
lane.

ya i saw the Quantum they had on there.  they also
have the ball i loved way back then.  the X-Calibur.
loved that ball.  shot first 300 with an 803 series
with that ball, 266,300,237.  shoot that was 12 years ago.
thought about buying another, i just dont think it would
work well in todays conditions compared to back then.

im using the "rev" annihilation right now which is the same thing, just with a different name printed on it. I did have success with it when the lanes in my house were cared for correctly. right now its not doing so great. IMO, it works better with a slight sheen of polish on it. I tried it sanded and it really died out midlane. its got a strong roll to it, when it does turn over.
just my 0.02

I guess when comparing this ball to the TS&A or AH, balls with virtually the same cover, it may not have as much on the back (though I personally thought as far as angularity it was pretty close to TS&A).  Don't think however that this ball is old and out dated, it really didn't come out that long ago, and has a reaction that is comparable to the Strike Zone from brunswick.

When the ball came out many proclaimed it as an ultimate inferno upgrade.  Many didn't like the UI due to what some said was a lack of continuation, and this asymetrick release did just that it made a continuous motion.  Due to mixed reviews of the WMB it was morich's premium heavy oil ball until the TS&A came out.  While lacking the midlane of the TS&A and thus the oil handling capability, it still is a great ball.  More than enough hook for the heaviest oil most see and a more screw up prone core design (weaker asym so harder to mess up than the vanguard) the TA should still have a spot in your bag.  The only reason this ball is not considered in the same class as the Ravage concerning collectorsis that no ball has come out from Morich's product lines in a medium agressive polished solid, whereas two more have come out in a super agressive sanded solid.

I could have gotten one for a great reduced price but I was too late.  I wish I would have jumped on that deal, at least I got a Ravage though.
