So I got my LevRG redrilled, and it continues much better. Gets that little kick in the back, but with the 42 foot pattern that I play on, reaction isn't that great. I switched to a polished Ebonite No Limit, and it saved up energy a bit better and I liked its roll. Should I try taking my LevRG (1000 abralon currently) to a 4000 abralon so it'll save energy? Maybe even polished? I have very little tilt, and mostly forward roll, so I'm thinking that the LevRg is rolling a bit too much and losing its energy at the pins.

Hmmm, from your description, the LevRG is just not the right ball for the given condition. Why not stick with the No Limit, and why do you insist on bringing the LevRG where the NL is already working? You will probably end up with 2 balls that just do the same... IMHO, I'd keep the LevRG as it is, maybe even bring it to 800 grit, and place it "above" the NL to build an complementary arsenal.

Just my 2 cents...

I guess I assumed the LevRg would be for ideal for longer patterns. I understand what you're saying about making both of them shine on the pattern. The 800 grit finish on the LevRg would be if the No Limit is unable to handle the volume?

My idea would be to set them a bit more apart, depending how close the NL an LevRG are condition-wise, just to make sure they do not overlap too much. If you feel that 1.000 grit is already enough, then stick with it, I just had an potential arsenal with the LevRG as a true oil ball in mind, for long oil, and the NL "under" it for medium to medium-oily conditions or when the oily lane starts to yield some room
