Title: Morich LevRG Response
Post by: carlitopeters on February 12, 2010, 06:04:15 AM
Well it is like this... My local proshop has a good deal on the LevRG Response, is it worthwhile? What was the Brunswick coverstock used on this and is there a ball similar to compare the Response with? Thanks.

Good price.

I picked up a few of their Morich specials (LevRG, Solid, Response, Ntense).  Not sure if matters to some, but I ordered 14lb and most came as 14lb 6 or 7oz and tops of almost 4 oz top, but I did get the requested 3-4" pins and they all had good pin-cg-mb line ups - nothing too extreme.

I ordered a 14 LevRG Response pound for my wife and it was 14.4 2.5 oz top and 2 inch pin. Everything lines up as well.

One of the 4 came as 14.3 (or 14.4) and 1.6 top.  The other 3 were 14.6 or 14.7 with 3.4 or higher top.

I don't mind the higher starting weight - I've been toying with moving back up to 15, so this is a good way to slowly move back up.

As with all of my experiences with bowlingball.com I'm sure if I had specified 3-4" pin and 2-3 oz top, or even a certain starting weight I would have gotten those.  This time I just specified 3-4" pins because having the certain pin length was the most important for me.

I just received them last night. I'm not complaining, I was just throwing that out there - I know some people would come on here and claim they should be 2nds or advertised as "heavy".

Don't forget to use the promotion code: spring5 for $5 off! I ordered my wife a Levrg Response and it was $64 with free shipping and I got myself a Brunswick Swarm for $54 free shipping from bowlingball.com! Great deals and get them while they last!
