MoRich near you
« on: December 01, 2008, 06:50:35 AM »
How many people use MoRich in your are? Do alot of people use Mo's stuff or is their just one or two here and their?

My area has a small cult following, One of my good friends uses alot of Mo's stuff he has a Nsane, Awesome Hook, and Ravage V and he loves the hitting and hooking power of their equipment always is first stuff out of the bag is MoRich. Their are a few youth bowlers that use some Mo stuff most of them got hooked cause they bought my seconds and loved the reactions they got. Most people are to afraid to even try their stuff around here though. I am easily the biggest MoRich junkie around the area.

To be honest I'm the only one that uses mo's stuff and I love it I have a two N Sane's one drilled with box finished the other one is polished and just got my Intense!  I love the hitting power and how the stuff rolls for me.

The house I'm in is a big storm place.  Not that don't think stuff is bad Mo's stuff I think is better!  Some people think there to much money I guess.  Our pro shop guy is a big storm and ebonite man!

Nobody at all uses Morich in my area. There is one guy that has one N'Sane LevRG, but that is it. Nobody else...

Raleigh NC. I bowl leagues in 3 different Centers and I've seen a number of bowlers use MoRich balls. I use them myself when the condition is right! I find their equipment great when used on defined conditions!

There is a fair share of it here in the Lansing area.  Mo even comes into town once or twice a year to put on a seminar.

I haven't regularly used one since dropping to 14#, but I still have 5 MoRich pieces.

I'm the only one in my area as well. I have a Seek And Destroy and am getting a Awesome Flip tomorrow.

I still see a few.  Awesome Flip was really big for a while.  NSane LevRG is still pretty hot.  A couple of guys use them in our scratch league - a LevRG and an NSane.  Both guys spin the ball a lot.  The cores really rev up fast and the strong MB actually gets them into a roll at the proper time for them.  I read somewhere here before that MoRich was great for spinners/low trackers.  I think I'm a believer now.  I still use my WMB for the tournament oil, but haven't needed it lately.  I think it's a little dull (500 abralon = 360 wet sand?) - maybe I'll take it back to 600 Scotch Brite.

In my local area, I'm the only one throwing any Morich, and my LevRG has been quite a versatile piece on a variety of conditions and lane surfaces. In out of state tournaments I've seen people using Morich, usually the Awesome Flip, Awesome Finish, and levRG the most.

Smattering of MoRich users in my area.

I think they appeal to higher skilled end users.  Players that know there game and can read lane conditions better than most.

The key is the pro shop and MoRich supports their pro shops.  You need a good driller that knows your game and stats. and can drill to fill a void.

BigB covers and Mo's cores unbeatable and reliable.

I drilled a pin down Solid LevRg earlier few months ago and very pleased with ball reaction and carry.  Next ball will be a Response.  May drill an 'Ntense for heavy after that.

Not many people use Morich in my area. I've had the S&D, Ravage and TA in the past. Currently use the S&A, LevRG and N'Sane LevRG.

Drilled a bit of the stuff in the shop. Mostly from the Levrg series and not alot from before.

Benefits? Some of the guys with weaker releases like the heavy roll the brunswick covers give. Some of the poor axis rotation guys like the angles I can get them with the gear.

Cons? Most high rev guys can't either get them down the lane, or can't get a true clean reaction. You have to nail the layouts to nail the reaction path you are looking for. Small layout differences give entirely different flare paths.

Summary? You either match up with the gear or you don't. I can't see people consistently building full 4 or 6 ball arsenals and covering most conditions (tournament and multiple house), as the gear just isn't really versatile enough to at least grind with if it's not matched up. I can see the use if a bowler struggles on a certain condition with either reaction or carry, that a morich ball gives them a unique look to help their cause.

I've found with my LevRg that a cover change made all the difference for me.the ball is also very versatile, rev it up and I get great mid lane and a controlled backend reaction.drop the revs and the ball creates good length and massive backend.I've also noticed you have to stay behind the ball or it won't set up well.I'm looking forward to trying the AH.

The LevRG with polish can be a THS killer and at 1000 or 4000, a great choice on PBA shots. You just have to be nice to it at the release.

There's a boat load of people who use MoRich in central New Jersey, where I am.

A major pro shop, Tommy (& Teata) Semiz's place inside B'wick Zone Carolier, home of the PBA US Open, is a MoRich specialist. Mo has had several seminars there.
