The silver bullet was pearlized urethane if I'm not mistaken so I'd hardly consider that to be a good comparison. I forget what the cover on the Pioneer is, maybe superflex?. The ball was made in the days when Morich was produced by Columbia rather than the current producer, Brunswick. The Pioneer was, I believe, his first and only foray into the mid priced market. It used his weakest core design at the time. I would consider this ball to be something like a Punisher, but keep in mind the asymetrical core design which is rare with such a weak shell.
