Need help

I recently purchase a new Awesome Hook the problem I am having is getting the ball to slow down to read the lane.  The ball has burned all the energy out of it and the ball never gets to read the back part of the lane.  Does anyone have ideas on how to get the ball to read the back part of the lane?

Well..if its buring, that to me sounds like there is not enough oil for the ball. Either you need to put it away ont hat shot, OR, you need to change the surface as it is highly aggressive reactive cover and 500 grit out of the box..which means LOTS of oil is needed....

You're going to have to change the surface.  Try going to 2000 abralon and try that.  If it's still out of gas, put a polish on top of the 2000 surface.  What surface are you rolling on?  That'll help make a determination on what to do next...

You must have A LOT of oil for this ball.  Remember, this ball isn't going to flip on the back as much as shiny ball though.  I've got one and can only use mine for one game in league play.

right now the ball is at 1000 thats it no polish.  I am going to try to change it to 2000 and polish it.
