Where's the Love?
« on: September 17, 2009, 05:14:15 AM »
Hey Morich Fans,
That is if there are any left. I can't believe there were no posts in the last 7 days. Anyway if there any of you left give me some help. I have a Paragon coming from Triggerman of this site. What can I expect from this ball? It is an overseas release so I don't know what to expect. It is a Ravage remake from 2007 from what I can find out. Let me know if you have any experience with it.

Something's wrong in MoRich land.
Just saw my pro shop's distributor's list for September: seems all MoRich balls have the same low discounted rate except the new Frenzy. I was shocked, surprised, to say the least.

oops! Different assembly line, possibly different resin supplier. then different ball reaction?

Storm and 900Global must be close to max'd out on the production capabilities.
Who does that leave? Visionary, Motiv, Lanemasters?

Visionary would be a good chice, IMHO. They had the capacity to pour for Banger and Insite ( which are both D.O.A.), so they SHOULD have the capacity to handle it.

Don't they have their own mixing there?  If so, couldn't they mix up coverstocks to Mo's formulation using whatever resin suppliers he/they agreed on?

nobody wants them any more and people can't give them away fast enough.I have a 4 ball Mo- Arsenal and looking for more. if I remember correctly the Ravage was skid/flip but don't quote me on that and most of mo's stuff just flat out rolls.if you have any hand then it should be a monster.

When I talked to Mo a few months ago at Kegel we started talking about coverstock strength and I mentioned visionary and he said yea their coverstocks are really abrasive.  We were talking about the USBC ball study and he said that visionary's particle AMB left scratches in the Synthetic lane.

Hmmm, React-A-Tack with a high MB core. Or the Ogre Particle cover with a (much) more powerful core... Yummy!

Visionary produces many different solid and pearl reactive covers besides particle. So, the comment that they are abrasive is hogwash.

Prior to Visionary when Faball produced the 3D Offsets and such Mo did the design work....so I'll assume he has a working relationship with the Wonders family.

I believe it depends on who Visionary buys their resin from.  If Mo gives the formula of ABC and is used to buying from company #1, if Visionary uses company #2 then formula of ABC might not be possible or might be a little different.
