very interesting out of an fos man lol. but seroiusly it checks earlier than a scorchin? you make me want it more and more, i just need to stop buying freakin bowling balls, i just bought 2 used ones witin a few days of each other...

Yeah I basically got this ball for free, so I am not too ashamed

But yeah it is stronger than the Scorchin' which surprised the hell out of me.  Don't worry, I'm getting my Solid Cobalt tomorrow and I'll post a review of that one too.

yea craig moore dropped his off to get punched up last friday, he was coming back for it monday, i probably should have stopped in to see it but im a bum lol. yea im pretty much looking for the strongest ball i can get right now because im starting my flood shot for school, 45ft with absolutely no backends, or anyone to help me break it down(lefty) my UI wouldnt tunr at all and i was throwing a pretty good revs to speed ratio....im hoping this or the tsa will be my hero of the season

Sounds like someone needs a Tombstone or Riptide from Ebonite.  Midnight Scorcher from Visionary (more recently the AMB Particle)?  SCB from Lane#1?

Well I will say the Super Carbide Bomb has no equal on a flood, but the Awesome Hook is the closest thing I have seen so far.

it might sound dumb, but i have a thing about particle, i really would prefer a reaactive. its just EVERY single particle ball i have had has died within a month. and i take care of them. i had a wmb that i gave a hot water bath every week, died. then i got another one and tried cleaning it after every day of use, died. enriched, gave it a hot water bath every week, and cleaned it after every day of use, died. and they were all used at the house i HAVE to bowl at because thats where varsity is so thems the breaks. reactive dosent have the same fate however so i would really like to make my investment last...

If you are looking for a reactive for a more flooded condition and you do not like particle, I would choose the Total Shock and Awe over the Awsome hook myself. The TSA is earlier than the AH so, it should perform a bit better on this condition IMO. You will need a Huge amount of volume of oil so the TSA will not hook right when it comes off your hand. OOB I have not found many lanes where it does not hook off your hand. Needless to say I dont throw it that often becasue of this. I would say the Morich reaction chart is correct for the TSA. Hooks in the heads, midlane, and backend.
