Now I've been impressed!
« on: August 31, 2004, 05:45:41 PM »
Went to watch league tonight. Local high level handicap league with every top bowler in area almost.

Was really impressed with the Ravage in the hands of a local stud!

Ball reminded me of a Demo Zone but somehow even livelier yet maybe more controllable.

It could've been the stud but I think it was the ball.

At492 after 2 he was not complaining!

Really a lot of rev at breakpoint, something to see! Good sharp angle but looks controllable somehow!

Must see drilling.

Said to a friend, man that looks good and he said not approved by PBA but I went to Morich site and they seem to disagree!

PS Mo has a ball called a Pioneer that may still be available that is good for lighter also!

This is Morich forum.

Guys are using the Ravage on medium around here!

It looks great.

A sonic boom/Pioneer would be a great step down!

Mayhem is same core as a Ravage just a lot stronger cover for heavy oil!

Total Annhilation I've been told is stronger than Ravage for heavier oil but not as heavy as the Mayhem!

Lucky - How does the Ravage compare to the Silver Streak Black?

Pearlier, Revier, and just as sharp.

I think it handles a little lighter condition.

I think of this ball as a lot like a mating of an impact zone and a Demolition zone with a sharp backend tons of revs at breakpoint and somehow some more control than both.

It compares in length and playing conditions to a triple x but revs faster???

I have not tried myself.  From the drillers I've talked to.  They say it is the Cindy Margolis of mammalia!

Note core of this ball is same as Mayhem, Onslaught and Ravage all with slight density tweaks.

As promised...

Stopped by and saw drilling on the Ravage of local stud.

The ball is a variant of the high track skid stop.

Pin about 1/2 inch above ring finger, mass bias kicked out about 2 inches right of thumb.

Length with a pretty strong mass bias.  He plays a slight inside line near the 3rd arrow on this almost medium but probably medium light shot where the righties can swing it!  and with this ball he is bringing it!
