OnSlaught question
« on: March 12, 2005, 03:19:53 PM »
I am a newbie to MoRich balls and I just ppicked up an OnSlaught used on ebay.

The ball is drilled pin slightly above and right of ring with the mass bias in the track. One thing I did notice is that the ball has the mass bias a bit higher than normal. It is around the 8:00 position to the grip center. Coverstock on the ball was dull and smooth when I got it. I hit it with a coat of Track Magic Shine asince I figured the ball was going to hook out of the house.

This ball has a very smooth and strong roll to it but I am having a terrible time carrying the corners. The ball will get into the pocket hard but I cannot carry the 10 pin.

Any suggestions? What's going on? In all honesty the Pioneer I have is a far superior ball at this point.

Thanks guys...I went home and looked up the drilling on my MoRich layout CD they gave me last year and the layout is not even shown so I am going to guess that is part of the problem. Mo does not show the MB left of the thumb on ANY layouts for the ball.

I am going to do a plug and redrill I think although I really hate tosince it was plugged and redrilled once already. I am thinking about a more "straight up" drill with the pin just right of the ring and the MB under the thumb. That should clear al lof the plugs and give me the read I am looking for.

I'll keep you posted !!!!
