Was runnin...and ran hard but back!
Pin over top left corner of ring and touching.
Mass bias about 1 1/2 inches from thumb. 2 1/2 inches from grip center line!
STRONG! Mo's standard assymetric drill!
Now to get in to this more. I've always believed that mass bias balls do predominately one thing and that is magnify reaction...what ever one sets up.
so this is a strong setup above!! It provides moderate midlane and a lot of recovery! On a wonderful coverstock which I guess is similar to the Ultimate Inferno.
An example of this in the past I used to throw my strong Deadly Virus(symmetric particle) against my Evolution Extra(strong asymetric particle). I would throw on a shot we had out that had a ton of out of bounds outside 10. Breakpoint for me had to be 11. The AMF Extra could recover on a confined swing from 15 to 11 and then back and hit...my very good symmetric ball Deadly Virus could not generate come back in that short of time to hook. Where you wanted to go left with your feet to hit it sould just get caught up in the au jus.
Use the AMF extra.
NOW...on this severe wet dry I'm on Brunswick Synthetics(slippery stuff the old stuff). With most of the balls I have...If I go inside and try to play the typical wet dry strategies the least little bit too far inside leads to a 10 pin(like a 7 for you righies).
So you move left and the slightest miss is brooklyn and beyond!
Now with the mass bias strong setup. One can move left while keeping the near the same mark...Let's say similar surface symmetric particle is 13 -14 at the arrows to reaching 5-6 at the break.
Now the symmetric is 14 15 with feet 6 boards right with feet. Essentially I am now on such a steep line left that the ball would go into the gutter at about 40 feet...or project a straight line to slightly outside the 7 pin.
the strength of the core gets the ball to move in the midlane and then turn and accelerate back to the pocket and hit! No 7s my friend.
The second benefit is that the initial attack line is so steep to the gutter that a slight pull gets into the oil and holds a tinch and then surprisingly hits!!!
I've told many of my buddies that if I wanted to I could go into this house and play the above pull line with one of my symmetrics and shoot 900 no tap...easy...without ever getting a real strike...7 pin 7 pin 7 pin 7 pin 7 pin 7 pin.
So what do I believe the assymetric has done. It creates you're usual perfect strike line...but it also seems to create strikes on both sides of the perfect shot.
With my very good symmetrics on this shot I felt I had one strike line!
As we lefties have usually said at this house. Our inside hold shot always pings 7s.. The righties inside hold shot...strikes.....
Not any more! Viva la assymetric difference.

PS when I first got here I had the above AMF Extra and did not know their local strange surface prep(wax till daylight)! I got rid of it! I'm sure it would have worked well as my opponent on the left yesterday shot 268 with his yesterday with the proper surface prep!
PPS a little surprise thrown in by our righty proprietor is that right at about 44 feet a spot of au jus is on the left... So if you try to throw like a power groove or something of the like it is trying to make it's move in the au jus and it won't happen. Guys who try to play in the dry with balls like the Sonic X or powergrooves get hung up in this juicy juice so stronger covers that move earlier seem to be necessary!
PPPS ...finally...as to me saying Morich balls are not great...well I don't know if they are better than the new zones, or the Triple x's but I know this now. If drilled into a fresh core they are pretty awesome!

Proud owner of a 140 first game average this year! Don't bowl me the second two games though! (two warm up balls in league..thanks proprietors)
