Well, to chime in once again... for me, personally, I can tell that I fared well with "light load particles" of different manufacturers - including Brunswick's carbide type of particle as well as the soft Storm stuff. High load balls do not work well for me (burn up too soon), so this "load class" gives me some hint what I can expect from a coverstock and if a ball is basically suitable for me.
Yet you are right: besides the load percentage, the type/material, size of particle and the base coverstock plus surface prep will all have influence on a ball characteristic. But it would be nice to have at least this general clue what kind of particle ball one can expect.
I am also still guessing how high the particle load in my Blade Particle is? I suspect medium, too, but there is no info the be found.
