Ravage and Laby minis...Part III

Ravage - Its feast or famine with this ball...either lots of strikes or a big-arse split (4-6-7 has been a very common leave as has the 6-7 and 6-7-10...and a couple of NASTY 4-6-9-10 leaves).  I've had some good scores with this ball despite these big splits jumping up once or twice a game (sometimes more...the other night I had 5 strikes and 5 big splits in one game...OUCH).  NOTE: Most of these splits have been pocket splits...which is very disheartening...but that's bowling.  Still trying to figure this one out...it carries well sometimes sending pins flying all over the deck (thus lots of strikes) but then a few shots later, on what looks like the same identical shot, it won't carry at all (thus leaving the big splits...the ball just drives through the middle of the pins and doesn't carry the edges).

Labyrinth - Quickly becoming one of my favorite balls...EVER!!!  The control I have with this ball is phenominal...very few shots miss the pocket...except for the occassional "user error".  The most common leave for me with this ball is a single 9 or 10 pin with an occassional 8-pin leave thrown in for good measure.  Midlane read is awesome as the ball makes a strong, continuous, driving arc to the pocket.  Pin carry is very good and consistent...I've left very few splits and/or multiple pin leaves (most common multi-pin leave has been the 3-6-10 when I happen to pull a shot - "user error" - and go high).

I think I'm starting to become a BIG Morich "junkie"!!!  LOL

Drrev2000...see my profile for PAP and drilling.

I can be inconsistent sometimes with my release/revs so that might have something to do with it...but with the "naked eye" I don't see (or feel for that matter) much difference between the balls that strike and the ones that leave big nasties.
