Question drilling @Solid Lev RG
« on: September 26, 2008, 12:15:17 PM »
I just purchase a Solid Lev RG with a 2 1/2 pin placement and TW 3.5 oz. My pap is 5 11/16 & 7/8 up. I was viewing the LevRG Layouts for High Track Players@ Control. Looking at the drill sheet for this drilling, it seems like the pin is place next to the ring finger and 3" from PAP and MB is place under
the thumb. There is another drilling I was considering pin under ring and 4 1/2
to PAP with MB under thumb. Could anyone tell me what the difference is between these layout and the reaction would be.

If I am reading this correctly--the MB will be in the same spot for both drillings correct?  So, the difference would be the pin placement <3 vs. 4.5>--The 3 in. pin would flare a little less, so you would create more motion at the breakpoint, while the 4.5 would flare more earlier to give it more of a forward roll at the breakpoint.  Simply, if you want more reaction down the lane then go with the 3 in. pin. Hope this helps.
