WoMB & Shock & Awe
« on: March 24, 2005, 12:50:40 AM »
Has anyone drilled both / have both, and if so...

1) Did you drill them the same ?

2) How are both covers prepped ?

I'm thinking these 2 could be a great 1/2 league combo, touneys too depending on how sharp of a break point you use......thanks!

I have both. Other than having some problems with the WMB hitting the thumbhole, both are amazing balls. I could see both of them being a great 1 - 2 league combo. My WMB is a very hard arching ball, as where my S&H makes a u-turn for the pocket. With the strong roll/arch the WMB has, I'm sure it's a killer on a heavier/longer shot.

Shock & Awe is box finish and the WMB was wet sanded to 600. I am going to wetsand the WMB to a 1000 grit.

Shock & Awe: 4 1/2 X 5 1/4 MB weight hole inline with thumb.
WMB: 3 3/8 X 5 1/4 MB.

Here's the photos:

Jeff,
I also have both.
My WOMB is drilled Asymetrical Flip.
Cover is 600.
It reads the midlane really well and hit hard.
My S&A is 3 3/8 x 5 1/2.
Cover is 1500 and polished with Brunswick Factory finish.
Long, snaps and hits really hard.
My third ball in the bag is an Absolute.
Cover is factory.
A lot smoother than my S&A drilled the same way.
