Getting a Awesome Revs, opinions wanted
« on: February 13, 2007, 08:14:01 AM »
I'm getting an Awesome Revs and I'm wondering on how I should lay it out. I was thinking pin under ring and the cg at 45 degrees, but would that be too much for this ball? I don't really want to do anything with pin over because I want to be able to rely on this ball to hook. I have alot of tilt and a high track with about 400 rpms normally and about 16 mph. Any suggestions?

If you want to stick with pin under, put it under your bridge (5" to 5-1/2" from your PAP depending on its location).  I would put the mb halfway between your thumb and VAL.  Use a weight hole about 4" from the center of your grip if necessary.  If you need more hook hit it with Abralon or scotch-brite.  If it hooks too much, polish as needed.

I can not suggest any sort of drilling since I have not seen your game.

But I can say the REVS is a great ball for the right condition. It works great when the back-ends are dry. The ball will really jump off the dry and rip the through the rack...

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.

STRIKE ZONE, ONSLAUGHT, REVS, FLIP & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!
