With the REVS sanded at 220 and the Rough-Buff added to it, what would that equal in Abralon? I am just looking for something close not an exact answer.
I have an extra REVS and was thinking about knocking off the rough buff, but I do not want to sand it with Abralon and have basically the same finish. I know that Rough Buff is a polish and sanding is sanding.
But what would happen if I used an Abralon pad, 1000, 2000 and 4000 on it. What kid of reaction would I be looking at?

I've been told is roughly equivalent to 2000 abralon, lightly polished. The cover is versatile, I've had my from 500 abralon to 4000. Grab some pads and experiment!

220 and rough buff is about 2000, i'd venture to say that 2000 will be a little bit longer and less overall, but fairly similar. My experience with rough buff is that it, like polish is more difficult to put on a ball the same way than say an abralon pad. Sometimes I can put rough buff on a ball and have it look almost polished, other times it looks almost sanded. I'm getting better at it but still not 100% perfect.
One word about Mo's stuff. He admitingly doesn't follow the same process that Brunswick does as far as rough buff. I find that his rough buff is slightly higher than Brunswicks.
