Any news on the "Awesome Flip"?

Found it on the PBA's approved balls list at http://www.pba.com/resources/ApprovedEquipment.asp?ID=46

Rumors, pictures, anything?

I heard a rumor, that all you have to do is make sure u set the ball on the lane anywhere..and it'll find the pocket.  Sometimes it doesn't carry the 8 or 9 pin, but that's rare...that's just the rumors I've been hearing.

According to the Scandinavian distributor of Morich, it's a pearl Seek & Destroy..

Based on the specs, i don't see how much it will differ from the S&A, unless it becomes particle.  My S&A was okay at best, lots of over/under, would like more info on this ball.

The Awesome Flip is due out to the public around the 3rd week of March. I should have mine a little earlier and will try and get a video of the ball.

Thanks for the input. A picture would be nice!
Personally, I wonder if it really is just such a "small" upgrade for the S&A? The S&A is as angular as anyone would need, IMHO, and just using the extra flip puck core from the S&D an making a new ball, just after 1 year on the market, does not make much sense to me? A particle pearl would be a more sensible arsenal addition, much like VAbowler mentions. Well, we will have to wait, I am afraid...

I was hoping that this new ball was going to be a particle pearl since MoRich is missing this in their lineup.  Maybe they'll come up with a particle pearl later in the year.

This is probably due to the drilling, and or the rough buff finish.  I have one that really clears the heads well, and lets loose on the backend.  This being said, I still believe there may be a niche for the ball.
