S&A...What in the Hell ?!?!?!

In league tonight I brought out the S&A for the last game, it doesnt get much use, so I figured I toss it in the bag for league tonight. Anyways the first shot I threw with the ball: I play deep deep and really crank the hell out the ball, It came screaming back from about 5 or so...It made the loudest crack, ear splitting sound I've ever heard in my life!!! Made people 2 lanes over stop to see what the hell happen ...Totally crushing the rack...I thought for sure a pin or 2 split !

I had a few other real good ones in the game, shot 230. My question is, what causes Mo's balls to make that nasty of hit ?... My buddies got one and it has that same crashing sound when it hit.

Energy retention, entry angle and acoustics. It ain't the sound that scores.

I know the sound don't score...but you just can't not hear it!

I can understand enery retention being a factor, but you really think entry angle has anything to do with it ?

The Activator+ coverstock.
I dug out my Intense tonight, after re-drilling it. It made that same CRACK! It, my Track Solution PowerPlus Ex and my Legends Masterpiece have that same sound,the most powerful hitting balls I have owned!

Honestly its the dynamics of Mo's cores matched up with the coverstock choice...my Ravage isnt nearly as angular as my S&A is.  My S&A is a truck, I wish they would come out with a pearl particle version of the S&A With an Activator coverstock, boy would that make me happy.  Then again I'm averaging 225 and 222 this year mostly with my S&A.

Just like the Absolute AND the Intense, the Shock and Awe is a resin pearl. There are no particles involved with Activator brand coversotck, as far as we know. The Raging Inferno had particles TOGETHER with the Activator coverstock; so it was a particle pearl.

ALL of Mo's latest creations make that impressionable sound.  All 3 of mine (WMB, S&A & Ravage) make quite a raquet during league night.  I am glad I made the change to Morich, by far the best balls I have ever thrown.

302, I did not mean more angle just the correct angle. How a house plays has a lot to do with it. I'm not into disputes over core as diff cores play good for some and crap for others. For me when i get that sound, it is usually a nite when everything matches up well. Being a tech type, noise is measured in data and noise to score analysis is somewhat subjective. If the sound makes you happy, be loud and be proud!!LOL I just want one that knocks down ten consistantly.
